How to manually control/override the Wiser Home devices. Follow
Some Wiser Home devices have the option for manual control, should you wish to override or control your system manually please follow the relevant guide(s) below:
Room Thermostat
- + button = increases setpoint.
- - button = decreases setpoint.
- O button = boost
- 1 x press = 30 mins
- 2 x press = 1 hour
- 3 x press = 2 hour
- 4 x press = 3 hour
- 5 x press = Cancel
Radiator Thermostat
- Twist head of the device to the + (clockwise) = increase setpoint by 2°C for an hour
- Twist head of the device to the - (clockwise) = decrease setpoint by 2°C for an hour
HubR
There is also the option to override the heating an hot water circuits from the manual override buttons on the 1st or 2nd Generation HubR . To activate the relay press and hold the override button for 3/4s This will then activate the circuit for:
- 2 hours (heating)
- 1 hour (hot water)
The HubR channel override can be cancelled with 1 quick press of the Heating/Hot Water button.
Underfloor Heating Connection Strip
- Press and hold the Channel Button for longer than 2 seconds.
- Hold the channel button to activate channel 1 or press the Channel Button again to select other channels.
The selected channel LED will start flashing. - When the required channel LED is flashing, press and hold for >2 seconds.
- Once selected this LED will be solid green and the next channel LED will flash.
You can select and channel combination, e.g., Channels 1, 3 and 5. - Pressing the Channel Button on channel 6 activates the selected channels. The relevant LEDs will flash green and the actuators open to allow water flow.
Press the Channel Button once again to cancel the override.
Electrical Heat Switch
You can activate the emergency heating on the Electrical Heat Switch by pressing the Relay Set button when the Hub/Room Thermostat is not working or the Wiser Home app heating control is not responding. Pressing the button a 2nd time will cancel the override.
Smart Plug
You can turn on/off the plug manually by pressing a operation button, when the power output is active the blue LED will be on.
Micro Modules
If a mechanical push-button switch has been connected to the device, the connected switch can manually operate the Power/Dimmer/Shades-controller Micro Module. However, if a mechanical push button is not installed, manual operation the Micro Module must be carried out by a qualified professional, as the device is connected to live electrical wiring.
