How do I remove a device from my Wiser system? Follow

If you no longer use a device or need to replace it, you can remove it from your Wiser system using the Wiser Home app.

Removing a device will disconnect it from your Wiser system and delete any associated settings, schedules, and automation actions linked to that device.

NOTE: This article applies to Wiser devices only. The Wiser Hub cannot be removed from the app. If you need to replace your Hub, please raise a ticket with our Technical Support team

Remove a device

  1. Open the Wiser Home app.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Select Devices.
  4. Choose the device you want to remove.
  5. Scroll to the bottom of the Device Details page.
  6. Tap Delete.

The device will be removed from your Wiser system and will no longer appear in the app.


What happens when a device is removed?

Depending on the device type, removing a device may:

  • Remove it from any assigned room.
  • Remove it from any automations or Moments.
  • Stop any monitoring or control functions provided by the device.

If you intend to use the device again, it will need to be added back to your system through the device pairing process.


When physically removing some devices electrical work may be required, please raise a ticket with our Technical Support for further assistance.

NOTE:  HAZARD OF ELECTRIC SHOCK, EXPLOSION, OR ARC FLASH Safe electrical installation must be carried out only by skilled professionals. Skilled professionals must prove profound knowledge in the following areas:  
• Connecting to installation networks.  
• Connecting several electrical devices.  
• Laying electric cables.  
• Safety standards, local wiring rules and regulations.  
Failure to follow these instructions will result in death or serious injury
