I had issues with this where after a factory reset, it would going into the "Ready to Install on the valve" with "Orange solid - not joined" LED pattern, which is different that instructed in the video.  When I turned it towards + to join it, nothing happened, and it became frustrating as it differs from this video.

I was performing a reset because the radiator thermostat was not connecting to the range extender.  However it turns out that the issue above was because the inclusions doesn't appear to include the range extender.  When I moved closer to the Heat Hub, it joined, but the LED indications just didn't show as described.

    Hello

There is a issue with Wiser Hub 2nd Generation with Relay for Boiler.

The adding of devices with App 6.2.0 (build 1099) is not possible. I have tried with a thermostat and with a thermostatic valve.

    None of both works !

Please help to solve the issue soon

Etienne - if you have any other Zigbee devices in the house, remove power from them first otherwise the Wiser Hub can't connect to thermostats. This includes Amazon Echo with built in zigbee hub, Philips Hue hub etc. Once connection is made you can power them back on. Told Schneider about this years ago but for some reason they can't be bothered to tell new customers.

Nigel, could the zigbee hubs affect how the trvs work? I'm having major problems with trvs literally ignoring schedules, boosting themselves and turning up to stupid temperatures like 27 degrees... Could the zigbee hub in my echo devices in those rooms be somehow causing this?

I wouldn't think so. Zigbee hubs interrupt the initial connection because the valves see another hub and not the one in the Wiser Hub. Once connected they seem to communicate fine. Your problem sounds more like a conflict with a smart hub like alexa - I have had this where alexa commands apparently random behaviour. If your heating is connected to one of those, try disabling the "skill" to see if the problem goes away.

If that's not the case, are you seeing incorrect behaviour on the app or are you getting room temps that don't match the heat demand on the app? If the latter, ie wiser trying to set a temperature but valve not regulating correctly then it may be that the valves are not calibrated on the radiator and are leaving the valve open when it should be closed / closed when it should be open. Mainly because the instructions on the app are incorrect!

    To get valve properly calibrated:
    - Delete the problem valve via Settings - Devices - select the valve - then "Delete". Your schedules etc won't be lost, this just removes the valve from the system
    - rejoin the valve via Settings - Devices - "+" button - radiator valve - twist top to + until led flashes green. If it fails first time, wait for valve to time out, close and reopen app and try again, it can be hit and miss
    - Once valve is rejoined and assigned back to room, twist to + and hold until you see three leds flashing. Then twist to - and hold until blue light pulses and you hear motor running for the calibration

That works for me, its not as advertised but if you follow the Wiser instructions in the valves just don't calibrate and can't control temperature. Good luck!

Nigel...as a complication, one can loose all settings and have reset and reallocate the valves. One can't delete and then reset; one has to reset and then reallocate. And it doesn't;t always work like they say it should.

    Hello Nigel,

Your procedure to force the calibration after removing the thermostatic valve seems to have solved the problem.

I will see in few days if all is solved.

Thank you for your help, best regards

    Etienne
