How do the seasonal adjustments work?

Our seasonal adjustments feature takes into consideration the months you use more gas and electricity (generally Winter) vs. the months you use less (Summer). In order to calculate the adjustments we multiple each month's budget by a factor. The factors are based on average domestic monthly consumption profiles for the UK.
