How do you calculate my energy breakdown?

In order to calculate your gas breakdown we look at how long your heating was on, and how much gas has been used across the house in total. From these two figures we can calculate how much of your gas spend was attributed to heating. For electricity, we use the energy usage data from your smart plugs and display this separately, anything else you spend on electricity is shown under "other".
