How do I set up my Trio In Home Display?

Step 1: Power your TRIO device up using the mains cable provided (please do not insert batteries). Ensure the device is within close proximity of your smart meter (no more than 10 metres away). You will see a message that says “not commissioned” or “connecting to smart meter” – that’s expected while the unit has not been joined to the smart meter network.

Step 2: Once the display is illuminated, connect the device to your Wi-Fi by pressing the home icon. Use the arrows to navigate around the screen and the circles to select. Navigate to Settings, Wi-Fi network, and use the circle to turn the Wi-Fi on. Next, scroll to Set Up Network. Select Network list and choose your network from the list. Enter your password using the keyboard on screen and scroll to OK to confirm.

Step 3: Do nothing! Your device will be connected to your energy data. It can take a few days for this data to show in the Wiser Home app but you will see data on your IHD much faster
