I have Insights+ and I am upgrading to Wiser 2nd Generation what do I need to do? Follow
When upgrading to a 2nd Generation HubR it is possible to pair your IHD to the new system however Insights+ data will not transfer within the app.
To prepare the IHD linking please perform a factory reset on the IHD:
The main menu can be accessed by pressing the button whilst on the home screen, once on the menu page navigate to: Settings>Advanced>Reset all.
Once reset you will then need to reconnect the device to the Home WiFi.
Access WiFi settings screen
• Press the "Home" button whilst on the Home screen
• Scroll down the menu to Settings and press O.
• Scroll down to WiFi Network and press O again.
• Press O to turn on the WiFi module.
• Select "Set up network."
Connection methods:
There are three different ways to connect to a local WiFi access point:
- • Scan for the network and connect manually (preferred method)
- • Use another WiFi device - such as smartphone or laptop - and connect to the Display
- • Use the WPS button on your broadband router
Follow the on-screen instructions to connect using one of the methods above.
Once the device has been reconnected please allow time for the IHD to re-connect to the Smart Meters.
You will also need to complete the eligibility checker after the account is setup and paired to the 2nd Generation HubR.
